Epic News Coming to You!!!
|
|
We have the most exciting news for everyone! As you know, we are full to the rafters in here and there is no possibility of a sew space for you at all.
We have come up with a way to make this work. We will do a short demo of a scrap quilt and how you put it together every Monday!!! Is that not the best idea?
Every Monday morning, Paulettle Eccleston will be showing one of her scrap quilts with instructions for how to put the block together!!!
Tips and tricks, inspiration, trips down memory lane and of course there are bound to be some giggles in there.
Please note: We only know how to do it as a video right now, so it will be short to begin but if we can figure out the You Tube thing then the world is our oyster!!!

I will be letting you know the exact date of the truck arrival and all the good stuff coming! Kits are planned, bundles galore...fat quarter mostly. If you do not have your pre order in to us yet for your Tilda precuts and/or kits, you need to get onto the website to check out what is coming!!!

Rising Prices
|
|
Due to rising costs that seem to just keep coming at us, we are having to raise the price of our long arm service.
The increase in price will take affect June 1st.
Any quilts already in the queue will be at the previous price. The cost of the quilting will go as follows: Cost of E2E from .03 sq. in to .035 sq in Cost per bobbin $1 Cost if trimming needed $5 The approximate rise in the cost of a 60" x 70" lap quilt = $20. I have really struggled with this decision, but moving forward we have no choice if we want to keep the doors open. I do want to keep the doors open and continue with what is truly my love and passion. Bill is wonderful too. LOL
Thank you to everyone for understanding a very difficult decision having to be made.

Carolina Moore Glow Ruler
|
|
Unlike any ruler you’ve seen before, the glow ruler is designed to bring light where you need it – the lines of your ruler!
Great for both light and dark fabrics, this ruler has been designed to make fussy cutting easier. The ruler lights up the fabric, helping you see details, and making for more accurate fussy cuts. The Glow Ruler has a battery that is charged with a USB-C cable, which comes with the ruler. Simply press the power button on the panel to light up the lines on your ruler. The Glow Ruler can also be used when the light is off. The battery lasts 6-8 hours on a full charge. We also have the 12.5" square and the 6" x 24" glow rulers coming whenever they restock in the warehouse. Available in the shop or you can order on line, have it shipped or just pick up when you are in next. Hit the Read More button for the link.

Sheila Thompson
|
|
Sheila Thompson brought in her beautiful lakeside quilt to have it long arm quilted. The peicing is awesome with a perfect palette to show the mood Sheila was creating. All in denim blues, golds and creams, this just makes you want to chill out at the lake and relax!
Sheila started with a panel of blocks and built it out from there with running yardage. The E2E design chosen to enhance the theme is called Asian Flow with a look of softly swirling waters! Glide thread Pistachio is the thread of choice for the top.
Thank you to Sheila for sharing with us all!

Linda DeBelser
|
|
Linda DeBelser brought this jaw dropping quilt in to be long arm quilted. A good sized quilt for the bed, this was Linda's first time working with the bias edge diamonds. She says she needs a bit of a break before doing another one of those! They do have a bit of a tendency to stretch on the bias edges so remember the Mary Ellen spray and the Acorn Easy Press. I personally buy it now by the gallon.
The design chosen is Alfresco with big happy flowers to accent the vintage floral look of the quilt. Glide thread Coral is the thread of choice for the top.
Thank you so much Linda for sharing!

Linda DeBelser also brought her awesome Braid quilt in to be finished with long arm quilting. She did an amazing job of getting the rows together and keeping everything nice and straight. Don't you just love her choice of fabrics and colours?
The long arm E2E design chosen this time is called Pansy with Glide thread Amethyst for the top. Heather is in the picture only because her outfit happened to match! Yeah me!
Thank you so much Linda for sharing!

Debbie Dobson
|
|
Debbie Dobson created this amazing BQ quilt all in Tim Holtz fabrics as a wedding gift. I love the fabrics with aquas, golds and the funny shade of green that is so popular right now. Not sure if the green is called a chartreuse or? If you have a fabric you love too much to cut up into small pieces, the BQ quilts are perfect! The pattern company is called Maple Island.
The quilt finished at 86 x 100 so a decent size queen bed size. The top thread is Glide Burnt Orange with the E2E design Rip Curl. Awesome finish to a fabulous quilt!
