Wendy Wilson
This is Wendy Wilson's 3rd quilt on the long arm and she chose one our most difficult panto to do. It is called Fall Foliage and is quite intense.
You have to love the innocence of the new longarmers. Anyone else would have had a few twitchy moments. Wendy? Nope....sure didn't! She aced it!
Wendy you had both Bill and I speechless and especially for me, that is saying something! Well done and pat yourself on the back for this one!

Lyndsey Dancy
Lyndsey Dancy and her mom came up from Falkland to take the certification course to use the long arm and were so much fun! Lyndsey was like a sponge....she couldn't get enough of all there was to learn and try!
Her Lone Star quilt looks amazing all quilted and I am sure when the binding goes on it will look even more stunning!
Great job on the long arm and thank you for spending the day with us.

Kim McCaig
Kim McCaig and her gorgeous table topper. This one is going to her daughter who I am sure will absolutely love!
The pattern is basically a Log Cabin pattern with careful placement of colour and rotation. I love the traditional Christmas look of this one.
Thank you to Kim for inspiring us all and getting us going for Christmas!

Sue O'Shaunessey
Sue O'Shaunessey was in to quilt this gorgeous quilt she made with her scraps.I loved the colours so much I now have a strong desire to see her sewing room and stash!
Again if you look carefully at the quilt you will notice that the blocks are a version of a Log Cabin block.By adding the connector corners and careful placement she has achieved a very different look. Makes me think desert colours.
Thanks to Sue for sharing your day and your infectious smile and positive attitude is just a delight!

Feline Frolics
More shiny pretty fabric new in the shop! I love my job! For many years, back to before I even opened the shop I have been in love with Laurel Burch fabrics. When we bring them in they tend to be petted a lot, with lots of oohs and aahs accompanying. I am seeing a bag and also a set of table linens. What do you imagine making with this fabric?
Available in the shop and on line at http://www.fabricshelf.ca
