Hero of the week!!

Hero of the week is Pam Coupland. Pam has been a loyal customer of ours for a long time and we truly treasure her friendship.

This past summer Pam and her husband Steve were victims of the wildfires.
They own a fishing resort on Loon Lake and suffered substantial losses.
They have really dug their heels in and are regrouping.They are now taking reservations so if you are thinking of a vacation or get away close to Kamloops check them out.

Pam is my hero this week for her resilience to adversity and just plain being stubborn......when she is down....do not necessarily count her out. She comes out with more determination and strength than you would believe!
Pam.....I am in awe of your strength and determination. You are quite an inspiration!

3 Generations of Customers!

This week I had the thrill of meeting these folk from Valencia, Venezuela! This is the 3 generations of Grandma, Daughter and Grandson! Grandma lives in Valencia, Daughter lives in Calgary and Grandson lives in Kamloops!

Grandma has invited us to her home in Venezuela.....can you imagine? To think that in a quilt shop in Brocklehurst, Kamloops I get to meet one of the nicest groups of people ever from all over the place!

This is the best part of being a quilt shop owner.....the people I get to meet every day!

Thank you to Obdulia, Abraham and Grecia for coming to our shop! You made my day!

Quilting Classes Announcement

Cardinal Irish Chain quilt is being taught in December! Learn to make this classic quilt to pass down for generations to come (see image).

Christmas Star Tree Skirt is also being taught in December! The tree skirt will fit your average to large size Christmas tree.

Betty Oswell has her free class scheduled and ready to go! This time she is teaching you to free motion quilt and also fused applique. If you choose not to free motion quilt she will show you how to channel quilt using your walking foot.

Due to having a Black Friday sale (Friday Nov. 24th) and then a Cyber Monday sale (Monday Nov. 27th), we are not having a weekly special this time.

Quilt Canada is coming to Vancouver 2018!

Candy Cane Village - Coming in January!

Donna Rickman did the sample using mostly fabrics from her stash. We will have the patterns in the shop in January and plan to run this as a get together fun project.

We can meet once a week and work on this adorable quilt. Check out your sewing room for scraps of fabrics, ric rac, buttons and more.

I am so excited for this one! Give us a call if you would like to be on the list for a pattern.
