Lorraine Silbernagel
| |
Lorraine Silbernagel challenged herself to work with only 2 fabrics and look what she came up with! The darker print is actually a batik with penguins on it! The lighter fabric is regular cotton with swirls. She wasn't sure if she was going to like this quilt but when it was done? Holy smokes is this ever a lovely quilt!
The Project was a mystery so she was a bit perplexed but it all worked out just fine! The edge to edge design chosen is Breath of the Gods and top thread is Glide Zaffre. Leslie Ford is the long arm quilter on the project.
Thank you to Lorraine for sharing with us all!

Diane Mousseau
| |
Diane Mousseau brought in a fabulous quilt for us to long arm quilt for her. This one is a grey background with all different plaids in the quilt. These yarn dyes are just lovely! Keeping them all straight is not so lovely, but Diane persevered and every one of her blocks is perfect. Even more fabulous look at the photo below of the back of her quilt! Is this not just a quilt you could look at over and over and see something different? Just fabulous!
Leslie Ford did the long arm quilting using edge to edge design Modernish and Glide thread Fern for the top. Quilt finishes at 66" x 74" so a generous lap size or twin quilt.
Thank you to Diane for sharing and I love the way you did the back of the quilt!
