Vickie Hendricks brought her awesome Farm panel quilt in to be long armed. This one is going to a very special someone who is going to be thrilled.

Notice the negative space surrounding the panel. This gave ample opportunity for some long arm quilt design.

Leslie Ford long arm quilted it with Fall Foilage E2E design and Glide thread Warm Grey 4.

Linda Anderson

Linda Anderson created one of the most beautiful Heart Quilts I have seen. She chose to work as a patchwork design with lots of negative space.
The quilt is to be a anniversary gift and is sure to become a family heirloom!

Leslie Ford again did the long arm quilting using E2E design P.S. I Love You with Glide thread Cool Grey 3.

Take a peek at this jaw-dropping quilt that Carole Carroll created. All hand pieced into hexies and scrappy to boot. The quilt garnered a lot of attention in the store, which was well deserved!

Tanya Knippelberg brought her beautiful Offset Log Cabin quilt in for us to long arm quilt for her. Her balance of the fabrics in the quilt is stellar! Love the fabrics but the Gold!!!! The gold really makes the other fabrics sit up and pay attention!

Bill did the long arm quilting using E2E design Flirtacious and Glide thread Cleopatra for a awesome finish.

Wanda Andrews created this gorgeous lap quilt using Northcott fabrics. The quilt is called Cedarcrest with the most incredible fabrics in deep rich colour tones.
Sometimes I just have to shake myself that this is all real! I get to come to work and see the most incredible pieces of art! How lucky am I!!

Leslie and Bill both worked on this one using a E2E design called Asian Flow and Glide thread Irish Spring for the spectacular finish!

Scissor Sharpening

Scissor Sharpening by Rick Walker of Wicked Edge

Rick will be coming in the second Wednesday of each month to sharpen your scissors and knives.

Have your items in to the shop by end of business on May 8th for them to be sharpened on the 9th.

Rick comes with 40 years of experience and does a great job! He will even sharpen pinking shears, grooming shears and more.

Cost is $10 a pair scissors

Sewing Machine Repair

Bill is over to Salmon Arm each week to see his stepmom and will bring your machines over for Hector to service on the Wednesday.

Have your machines here by the end of business on Tuesday and you have your machine back on Thursday!
