Roxanne Agar
| |
Roxanne Agar brought her gorgeous Wheels quilt in for us to longarm for her. She very generously offered the following write up on the project: "This Wheel quilt, as I call it, was inspired by Paulette Eccleston during one of her demonstrations that I attended. When I saw her quilt, I thought I would to make one with all my unusual stripe fabrics and have it look like "wheels". It was fun to make and the result I wanted. It took me several years to actually get it made, but it was always in my thoughts and my container of stripes were always earmarked for that project".
The edge to edge design was Mod Dotz with Glide thread Aquarium for the top. Leslie Ford is the long arm quilter on the project.
Thank you so much Roxanne for sharing with us all!

Marcia Skaarup
| |
Next up we have a super fun quilt created by Marcia Skaarup. The quilt is made for her grandson's graduation gift. Owen is a bit of a free spirit and will totally suit a quilt that is named "Flamingoes and Pineapples, Oh My!". The name of the quilt is actually "Calypso" and can be found in the Quilts and More magazine Summer of 2006. Personally I like her name for it more.
The edge to edge design is also named rather quirky .....Breath of the Gods....and top thread is Glide Clover. Leslie Ford is our prostar on the quilt for fantastic results!
Thank you to Marcia for sharing with us your quilt and well developed sense of humour!

Love your quilt Tanya and being so modern and fresh....which is what I am moving towards being. Thank you for sharing and I am now scoping out the Art Gallery fabrics....
