Shirley Chizma was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous bed size quilt she made using a line of fabrics called Belle Epoch.

The reds, blues, creams and blues are just awesome with a great balance of the colours throughout. She chose a computer pattern called Baroque Hearts and it turned out perfect!

Thank you to Shirley for sharing your creativity with us all!

‌

Laura Napier

Laura Napier bq quilt ‌

Laura Napier was in to quilt her bed size BQ quilt using only 3 fabrics. She used the floral fabric as her starting point and did a fabulous job of making this one into a show stopper!

Laura has been quilting for quite a while and it has been so much fun to watch her on her journey! Her sense of colour and values is just getting better and better all the time!

With Lori Dewart's help she had a very successful outcome to this one!
Thank you to Laura for sharing ideas and creativity with us all!

‌

Donna Youds

Donna Youd christmas quilt ‌

Donna Youds was in to quilt this amazing seasonal heirloom quilt she did using Nancy Halverson pattern booklet.

Loads of applique and hand embroidery this is a just amazing. She still has the buttons to go on and binding but she is over the biggest amount of work.

Donna was so proud of this one and I agree with her! Bill helped her out to work with the computer program and it is so pretty!

Thank you to Donna for sharing your incredible quilt with us all!

‌

Diane Mousseau

Dianne Mousseau ‌

Diane Mousseau was in to pick up her hand embroidered quilt she gave us to quilt for her. I have a love of the vintage quilts and this one is just spectacular!

I have some projects that my mom made back when she was a teenager and wanted something to do while babysitting. I treasure them and allow no one to actually use them. They just live on my dresser and end table. Any of you out there have some of these vintage items at your homes?

The quilting was done using the computer and the results were as always just perfect. We used a simple Bumpity pattern to keep the focus on the blocks. Just in love with this one!

Thank you to Diane for letting us be a part of this quilt story!

Remember that you can bring your quilts in for us to quilt. The cost is $.03 cents per square inch. Take the length and x by the width x .03  and you will have the cost of the quilting done by us. We are at a 1 - 2 week turnaround currently.

Alaska may 2022 projects ‌

Yes we are going to Alaska in 2022 on a quilting cruise. How exciting is that? Anne Hall and I are hosting this fabulous trip and guarantee some good times, quilting, good food and spectacular scenery!

This is of course all dependant on the Covid situation, as we take your safety is of first concern for us. All precautions will be taken to have fun, enjoyable but safe vacation. We have a limit of 20 students in order to keep distances.Only 2 spots left so give a call soon!!!

The project offered is gorgeous! Called "Mermaids Tale" you can make this one as a 68" x 68" or extend it to a 99" x 99" queen quilt. You also have the option of doing the Poinsettia project which you will probably be able to finish the top on the cruise! That would be cool! Next you also can choose to do a UFO! You will need it to be a Quiltworx or Be Colourful project, and Anne will help you get through the project!

This all sure makes it sound pretty darn exciting! You can find all the details at Anne Hall's website :http://www.sewpeaceful.com
