Barb Hollingshead

Barb Hollingshead has been hard at it working her way through her stash. This quilt was made for a family member who had chosen the fabrics.

Barb did a great job of moving the fabrics from one colour to the next. She came in to long arm quilt this beauty and it turned out gorgeous! I just know that special someone is going to be thrilled!

Robyn Sheils

Robyn Sheils was in to long arm quilt these two beauties! Robyn's mother in law Heather does the piecing and Robyn does the long arm quilting!

Robyn's long arm quilting is super smooth which is the secret to perfect long arm quilting. The smoother you can stitch the smoother your stitches will be. She also uses glide thread and good quality fabrics which is of huge help.

Margaret Mitchell

Margaret Mitchell made this adorable little picnic blanket for herself! I say "Good for you Margaret!" . The theme of the quilt is puddle jumpers and it is all raindrops and gumboots with the occasional frog leaping around.

Lori Dewart did the quilting with raindrops and it is just gorgeous! Margaret turned it into a quillow so it can double as a pillow.  See the picture below for the pillow and notice the umbrella motif quilted on it!

Robyn Sheils

Robyn Sheils is up again with another 2 quilts she has quilted on our long arm machine. The celery black and cream quilt is just gorgeous, especially with a thread colour called Celery! the other one is all done in Australian themed fabrics with rich reds, golds and greens. Just gorgeous and cries out to be petted.

Ruth Majak

Ruth Majak and her gorgeous quilt she made from a kit from our shop. She has backed it with Minky for that extra touch of richness and softness.
The pattern is called Tea Time and is one of the Villa Rosa patterns.

The panto design is a simple one called Carpet of Leaves with Glide thread for perfect results every time. I did advise Ruth to machine sew the binding to the back of the quilt, press to the front and then machine stitch down. The black Minky is just too hard to see for hand sewing.

Kemore in Cabinet for sale

Tonga Fantasy

Is this not the most gorgeous purple and blue quilt ever? This one is a big one at 102" x 102" and all in Batiks by Timeless Treasures. Pattern is designed by Wing and a Prayer.

This quilt is offered as a BOM or purchase it outright. Full price on the kit is $299.99.  Fabrics and kits available in January of 2021. If you want to start payments now of $50 a month you will have the kit - or most of it - paid for when it arrives! How cool is that?  Works out to $12 and change per week so very affordable for everyone.

RIH Quilt Raffle

The RIH Auxillary Quilters Guild has once again produced 2 fabulous quilts for raffle to raise funds for our Hospital.
