Dona Kobyashi makes it happen!

Dona Kobyashi was in the other day with 8 more quilts for the Lytton evacuees. These ones came from Vancouver Island and let me tell you...my jaw hit the floor when I saw them! They are just incredible!
I have included a message from Dona that she sent explaining the story of these quilts. Note...Dona was the facilitator, not the quilter. Thank you Dona!
"At a recent Rotary Club of Kamloops West meeting, I mentioned that my PEO Chapter, BC-AC, plus a few friends, has undertaken the task of contributing quilts to the evacuees from the 2021 wildfires. One of our newer members called her mother on the Island to see if she could ccontribute a quilt. Her mother has a history of donating quilts to various causes. She sent 8 beautiful baby and lap quilts to me to include in the contribution from my PEO and Friends group. What a generous lady!"
What on earth is a P.E.O.? I asked the same thing and here is the answer she sent me:
The P.E.O. Sisterhood is a U.S.-based international women's organization of about 230,000 members, with a primary focus on providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide. The Sisterhood is headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, with chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
Thank you very much, Dona and the sewer on Vancouver Island! You are just amazing!
