Debbie Tombes
Debbie Tombes was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous child's quilt. I love this fabric so much I am trying to get some ordered in. Fingers crossed that the lovely UPS fellow drives up with boxes of fabric for us!!
The quilt is more a child size than a crib size. When I look at this quilt I can picture some lucky little one using it from baby to school age. Super value for the work involved.
Thank you to Debbie for sharing with us and showing us a very different but super cute child's quilt.

Lise McDermitt
This spectacular quilt is Lise McDermitt's summer quilt. She has used rows from different shops, blocks for here and there, adapted patterns and just really made it her own.
The fabrics have been collected over time and she finally decided this is the year and got it done. The quilt is all in batiks and is huge! A large king size we all just fell in love with this one!
Beautiful work Lise and we really appreciate you sharing your talents with all of us! By the way, Lise has been quilting over 40 years, and I so want to see how large her stash is....send me photos!

Edith Armstrong-McLeod
Edith Armstrong-McLeod was in shopping the other day and we got chatting about vintage linens. She had a few suggestions and offered to send a photo and write up for everyone. Here is what she sent in:
"After my recent purchase at your shop, thought I would send along a little project that I made a while ago. I have a number of old doilies, soiled and/or tattered doilies, from my Gran. This one I only had use of the outside edge, so I quilted over top of the old piece of fabric, making the backside fairly plain. I really like it on our kitchen table, and I hope to make more soon, the ideas are blooming."
Thank you so much, Edith, for sharing and inspiring us all!

Mary Jane Reid
Mary Jane Reid was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous butterfly quilt in brilliant In the Beginning fabrics! The panel of butterflies is amazing enough but when she added the border ........ WOW!!!!
Mary Jane decided to use the computer to quilt her project with a flower and Bumble bee design. With Bill's help she had it done in just under 2 hours!! Her thread was the variegated in Rainbow colours. All told, this is one awesome quilt!
Thank you to Mary Jane for inspiring us all and especially for sharing your talents with everyone!

Susan Green
Susan Green was in to long arm quilt 3 quilts in one day! Holy moley! This woman is like a machine.
This is the larger one she did first. Susan fell in love with the raspberry colour and thought the bright greens would go perfect. I agree, Susan!
In the afternoon Susan quilted two small baby quilts side by side and she was out of here before supper time! Such a feeling of accomplishment to get three of the UFO projects quilted in one day! With Glide thread, fairly simple pantos and Bill's help it all went smoothly.
Thank you Susan for sharing your skills with everyone and we loved having you in the shop!
