A Very Merry Christmas

merry-christmas-4 ‌

All of us at the Shelf would like to wish you a very merry Christmas and all the best in 2025

Store is closed from Dec. 25 - Jan 2nd for all of us to have some family time. Thank you for your understanding.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you so much for supporting our shop! Without your continued patronage we would not still be here.
Thank you from all of us!

I also want  to thank all of my amazing staff who have stood by me on this wild ride. The giggles, the hugs, the tears and the lifelong friendships we have made are all the parts that make our shop so fabulous.

I especially want to thank my hubby, Mr. Bill who has stood by me through thick and thin. This year will be 50 years we have been married and I am not done training him yet. I have great help from my staff and we will get him whipped into shape! LOL
Love you to pieces Mr. Bill!

Change in our Hours

abcd ‌

Starting December 1st we will be closing at 4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so my staff can be driving home in daylight.
I know.....I need to stop being a mother hen to them, but old habits are hard to break!
Friday and Saturday hours are from 10 to 5pm. I will probably still send them home at 4 because I will worry myself half mad if I don't.
This is for December and January only at this time.
Thank you to everyone for your understanding.

Happy Snowman Quilt by Tilda

snowquilt ‌

Are you looking to try out some of the Tilda patterns?
This one is fairly simple and you end up with a gorgeous lap quilt to use for years.
The main technique you will work with is connector corners. No applique. Eyes can be done with purchased buttons or maybe try embroidery eyes. Maybe even those pesky French Knots? I am a terrible French Knot maker.....they always look like warts. LOL
The blurb below is from the Tilda's World website. The pattern is free.
