Schedule change for Machine Servicing

Don't forget that Hector and Tammy come every Wednesday to pick up machines to take back to Kelowna to service. Your machine will be brought back the following Wednesday.

You will need to have the machines in by 11 am on the Wednesday. It is really helpful if we know yours is coming in so they have an idea of what they are looking at having to get done. Give us a call at 250-376-7630

Kathleen Alcock aka The Machine!!!

Here we have Kathleen Alcock sitting in the purple chair [ also known as our man cave ] with her latest stack of quilts she has come in to quilt! Holy moley girl! You are truly like a machine.

You can see the projects below that she has been working on. With working full time I am in awe at what she gets done in the sewing room...that and I have to admit to feeling like a bit of a slug next to her! That is ok. Slugs can be good......Can't they???

Kathleen has a bit of an edgy sense of humour and you can often see it in her projects. Love it Kathleen!

She found a design to quilt with the Mickey Mouse ears! Can you believe how lucky that was?

The quilt looks amazing Kathleen and yes there is a Mr. Bill peeking out from the other side.

And last we have Kathleen Alcock and her very cool Hot Cars quilts she made in some lovely oranges and blues. Always one of my favourite colour combos.

Kathleen used a simple edge to edge quilt design that looked like race tracks! How perfect is that???

Deb Lebsack Day #1

Deb Lebsack was in to long arm quilt her awesome quilt for her granddaughter. Her placement of the colours was perfect in balance and values.

Deb chose to use the computer for perfect results and with Bill's   help she had a gorgeous quilt exactly how she wanted it to be!

Deb booked the machine over two days so the next day she came in to quilt the smaller Hunter Star quilt with help from Lori Dewart.

Again she chose to use the computer programming to get those perfect results!

Sheila Gibbs

Sheila Gibbs, also known as the Queen of Quilted Table Runners, was in to quilt 3 more of her gorgeous table runners.

This is such a clever and efficient way to get  all 3 of the runners done! One piece of backing and load all three runners on the frame! Just make sure you leave some space in between the runners so you can straighten or line up. By using the computer program, you can do each of the runners in a different design.

We now have the Drawstring mask elastic in black and white! Yeah! This has been a bit of wait so act quick on this one.

Sew Elastic Band Cords to your mask for easy adjustment to the ideal fit.

Bands are approximately 8 inches long and stretch up to 12 inches. The bead adjusts the length of elastic to the perfect size for your head.
