The hero of the week is All of You!!!
Heather's Fabric Shelf would like to take the time to thank all of you for being such great customers and supporting us through the years. From a picnic table, lawn chair and 50 bolts of fabric, we have grown beyond my wildest dreams. Without each and every one of you shopping with us, giving hugs, sharing projects and helping out on this quilt journey, the shop would not be where it is now.

Christmas Craft Fair Saturday!
Christmas Craft Fair is happening this Saturday (December 9th) at the Seniors Center across from the shop. They are sold out for tables so there should be something for everyone on the list!
Don't forget we will have a few tables in the shop as well. Come in and check out the tables in the shop for jewelry, soaps, quilted items and Necessary Clutches.

Quilt Canada is coming to Vancouver 2018!

This is the Raffle Quilt that the Cotton Pickers Guild has taken a year to make!
Dinah Mulvaney did the custom long arm quilting and it is gorgeous.
The binding still has to go on and I will post a picture of it finished ASAP.
Tickets are available for $5 each at our shop or Flutterby Thrift shop.
Tickets are on sale until December 24th, 2017.

Candy Cane Village - Coming in January!
First Class is January 27th with a sew in day for $10.00. The sew in days will continue with the last Saturday of the month. If you all decide to meet more frequently we can do that.
Donna Rickman did the sample using mostly fabrics from her stash. We will have the patterns in the shop in January and plan to run this as a get together fun project.
We can meet once a week and work on this adorable quilt. Check out your sewing room for scraps of fabrics, ric rac, buttons and more.
I am so excited for this one! Give us a call if you would like to be on the list for a pattern.

Throwback!
Now here is a throw back! Several years ago I had some fabric in the shop called "Fruit Burns". Personally I thought it was gorgeous! My hubby was definitely not on the same page!
It was a tough sell but we did it finally but had never seen anything made with it until Julie Ottoson came in to show me her placemats! Aren't they awesome?
Do you have anything from days gone by that you would like to show? Bring it in....we would love to see it! PS....Not your husband. Only projects you have made. LOL

'Tis The Season
It is the Christmas season and a time of reflection and giving.
Each year we run a "Women to Women" program of filling stockings for women not as lucky as we are. The stockings are filled with mitts, socks, scarves, candies, hygeine products, earrings and items for women.
We support the Emerald House for women in immediate need. You can donate a stocking, items to put in the stocking or cash to purchase items for the stockings.
Please consider this great cause and help to support women in need. Thank you for your generosity!
