Leanne Harrison drove up from Falkland area to learn to use the long arm. She spent the day with Mr. Bill and this is what she turned out!

All in water and earth tones this one is a beauty! She opted for the computer  to do the work and it is gorgeous!

Thank you to Leanne for sharing your day and your quilt story with us!

Paulette Eccleston

paulette-eccleston-storm-at-sea

Paulette Eccleston was in to use the computer to quilt her stunning Storm at Sea project. She has used some older fabrics as well as some new and it totally looks all new to me!

The design she chose is called Rip Curl and was perfect for the theme of her quilt! Always a fun day when Paulette comes in. The only problem I have with Paulette is that every time she comes in I just want to go home and sew! She is so inspiring!

Thank again to Paulette for sharing all your creativity with us!

Vicki Hendricks brought her quilt in for Mr. Bill to long arm quilt using the computer. The design chosen was called Becker's Winter Wonderland and it was perfect for this project.

I just fell in love with this one. Vicki used so many different types of embellishments from sequins, buttons, embroidery and more. This is sure to become a family heirloom for sure!

Thank you to Vicki for letting us be a part of your quilt story!

Vicky Strachan brought her Cathedral Windows quilt in for us to quilt. Lori Dewart did the quilting using an Edge to Edge design called Fast Feathers. Absolutely amazing!

Vicky was so thrilled with the outcome there was almost tears! Her entire bedroom will now be done to match the quilt. Anyone else ever done that?

Thank  you to Vicky for sharing your quilt with us and a thank you to Lori Dewart for a gorgeous job of the long arm quilting!

Margaret Stewart-Smith

margaret-stewart-smith

`Margaret Stewart-Smith was in to let us quilt her project for her. This one is going back east to a relative and I am sure it will be much appreciated and loved! A brown plaid flannel was used on the back and the thread colour was a rich brown.

Lori Dewart did the quilting and the design chosen is called Bauhaus. The quilt design is a gender neutral more geometric design so worked very well on this quilt.

Thank you to Margaret for sharing with us all!

Deb Lebsack

deb-lebsack-2

Deb Lebsack was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous lap quilt in almost a plaid pattern. She really did well on selecting her tones of fabrics on this one. Great pattern!

Deb chose to use the computer to help her quilt her quilt perfectly! Deb always uses Glide thread on her projects so she knows that she is going to have perfect shading, perfect tension and little to no thread breaks. Got to love the Glide thread!

We have an extensive supply of Glide threads and more coming all the time so make sure to check them out in the shop and on the web http://www.fabricshelf.ca
