Shirley Huculak was in to long arm quilt this gorgeous project she made in the most beautiful shades of royal and cobalt blues!
The panto she chose is called "Baroque Hearts" and it was absolutely perfect! Loved this one!

Lauren Embury
Lauren Embury was in to show us her Valentines Day project. Lauren has gained so much confidence and skill as the projects come in! So much fun to watch her on her quilting journey.
Lauren did free motion quilting for the very first time on her table runner and did very well. I was particularly impressed to see her use some of her decorative stitches.
Remember......you have loads of fun stitches on your machines. Use them! Decorate everywhere! I love that part of sewing!

Very interesting technique used on the panel in bright colours. Panels can be challenging as to designing. I really like the woven borders!

Coral Deschenes
Coral made this amazing Shadow Box design quilt for a special friend and it turned out gorgeous!
I find one of the most challenging parts of the red, black and white quilts is "What colour of thread to I panto quilt this with?" Coral chose a very light grey Glide thread and it looked really good on all the fabrics.
Coral is getting some love from Livvy our little Dachshund puppy! Thank you to Coral for motivating us all!

South Thompson Inn Retreat!
This fall Anne Hall and Heather Fagervik are hosting a quilt retreat at the fabulous South Thompson Inn!

Beginner Sampler Class
We are offering a Beginner class with Sampler blocks. The beauty of doing a sampler quilt is that you learn several different techniques and skills.
The project finishes at 54" x 54" but you have opportunity to make yours larger if you wish. The photo shows it as a flimsy as I finished piecing literally 10 minutes ago. It will be quilted next week, binding on and then it will be even more gorgeous!
Cost of the class is $100 with yours truly, Heather Fagervik, as your instructor. Dates of classes are Wednesdays beginning on April 1st and the other class is offered on Saturdays beginning on April 4th. These are 4 class programs and guaranteed to be a fun way to introduce you to this wonderful hobby.

Kathleen and Jeff!
Kathleen Alcock and Jeff Pelltier collaborated on this gorgeous quilt for a mutual friend! Love it when people just work together and produce something this amazing.
Kathleen is extremely comfortable doing free motion quilting and can whip one off in no time. Jeff is a bit newer to quilting and is a pro at choosing fabrics, piecing and is nipping at Kathleen's heels for the free motion work!
