Brenda Bliss was in to spend part of her day with us to longarm her gorgeous winter Scene quilt. The beautiful icy blues and whites with touches of silver really capture the mood of a crisp winter morning.

Leslie Ford helped her on this one with digital pattern Seamless and Glide thread Mercury. What a lovely lap quilt you have Brenda!

Kassandra McMullen

Kassandra brought her bright and beautiful Round Robin quilt in for us to longarm for her. I think my favourite Part is the flying geese that appear to twist on the way to the top. Kassandra did a stellar choice in her balance of colours and patterns.

Leslie Ford is the longarmer on this one with Dear Heart digital design chosen and Glide thread Warm Grey 6 for the top of the quilt. What a creative and interesting quilt!

Starr Webb

Star Webb brought her simple but very effective quilt in for us to longarm for her. Starr is a new quilter and eager to learn. She is so much fun to  work with and just so eager to learn. Her quilt she named Foxes as the theme blocks have super cute little foxes. The background of blue is just perfect!

Leslie Ford did the longarming using a digital design Bumpity and Glide thread Mint. What an amazing quilt Starr!

Eileen McBride

Eileen McBride came in to take the longarm class with Bill and look what she did! Her jelly roll quilt is so cheerful and bright it brings a smile to  me. Eileen is a bit of a newer quilter and is very pleased with what she has created. Eileen, you knocked it out of the park on this one!

Eileen quilted the quilt in the class using digital design Alsfresco with big happy flowers and top thread Glide Mulberry.

Jeannie Vanderwal brought her incredible quilt in for us to longarm for her. Jeannie is a fabulous quilter and her piecing is perfect! I love every part of this quilt from the background taupe to the fabrics chosen for the blocks. Title of the quilt is Apple of my Eye.

Bill did the quilting using digital design Modern Flowers and Glide thread Tabriz Orchid for a spectacular finish. This one is just such an amazing quilt!

Scissor Sharpening

Scissor Sharpening by Wicked Edge will resume in January. .

We have discovered a fellow in town, Rick Walker, a fully certified, scissor sharpener who will come and sharpen your scissors here at the shop.

Rick comes with 40 years of experience and does a great job! He will even sharpen pinking shears, grooming shears and more.
You can phone me at 250-376-7630 or  email me as well to let me know how many scissors are coming.

Cost is $10 a pair.

Just a side note from us:  He sharpened our batting scissors and did amazing! They are like brand new scissors!

Sewing Machine Repair

Tammy and Hector Symes are back servicing in machines. Have your machines here by end of day  each Tuesday for fast turnaround and excellent service on your machine!

Bill will bring your machine over to Salmon Arm at no additional cost as he is over every week to see his step mom who is in care.
If the stars align you would get your machine back the next day, or at the latest the following week.

Once we start to get enough machines in, Hector and Tammy will come to Kamloops to do the machine servicing on site that day! Wouldn't that be fantastic?
