Family Day

Family Day is February 17th. A stat holiday we are closed that Monday but the online shop is always open.
I shall be celebrating my family by sewing the day away! There will be some call to the kids and our siblings.
Enjoy your day to sleep in, sew, read a good book and maybe not even get out of your pyjamas!

Looming Tariffs
|
|
As you may well know by now, 25% tariffs are looming for the beginning of March.
We would like to reassure our customers that the majority of our product is from Distributors in Canada.
It is true that some may be shipped into those distributors from the US so we are expecting a price increase on many products. We are doing our best to keep the prices down but as these are uncharted waters we are entering, markets may change.
That being said keep in mind that we sell our full rolls of batting all year long at 25% off. We will have a good supply of the batting rolls in stock before the end of the month.
Thank you to everyone for supporting our business and helping us to navigate these difficult times. We are so appreciative.

Lorraine Warman had a collection of vibrant yellows and blues to use. Check out her gorgeous quilt she created! The balance of the colours and the flow of the pattern is just spot on!
The quilt was quilted with E2E design Spring Petals digitized to fit the design of the quilt perfectly! Top thread is Glide cornflower.

Here is a show stopper for you! Deb Arvay created this stunning quilt for her granddaughter Georgia with a fabric panel by Northcott. She grew the quilt out to a bed size using coordinates jof the line of fabrics.
The quilt was quilted by Bill using the E2E design Horseshoes and Loops with Glide Light Tan thread for the top.

Terry Doebert also loves the vibrancy in the large flowers and patterns by Frond Studios. The intensity of the colours is fabulous! Finishing at 46" x 51" this one would look amazing as a wall hanging!
The quilt was quilted by Leslie Ford using the E2E design Dave's Sunflower and Glide Affinity Rainbow thread. Wow and wow!

Shirley Chizma started with this fantasic World map panel and added the fish borders to build it out. What a clever idea to enhance the map panel and bring it to a great size of 54" x 62".
Don't you just love that panel?
Shirley chose an E2e design called Whales Everywhere which looked just incredible on the quilt. I have posted a photo below of what it looks like on the back so you can see the design better. The top thread is Glide Azure.
