Family Day February 16th

happy-family-day-images ‌

We are closed Monday February 16th for Family Day.
As our world becomes more insulated with email, social media and changing work forces less time is found to spend time with our loved ones.
Take the time to enjoy your families and if you are on your own, spend your time all about you! Go for a walk, wear the pjs all day (do get dressed for your walk), eat the chocolates and hopefully find some time to sew!

Shirley Hukaluk was in to  long arm quilt her gorgeous quilt she made for one of her family. She has used all tonals in the quilt and let the strong contrast be the focus.
Bill was her helper today with choosing the Bauhaus E2E design and Glide thread Cerulean colour for spectacular results!
A beautiful quilt Shirley! Thank you so much for sharing.

Diana Hewins

Diana Hewins and her Heavy Equipment quilt! This one is for her grandson.
Diana's dad worked with heavy equipment so it was a given that she was going to make this one. A bit of a tug at the heartstrings but in a good way.
She chose to use the E2E design called Gadget 10" with Glide thread Slate. It was the perfect Quilt design and left at the 10" size the pattern really showed up well. Leslie was Diana's helper this time and they both thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
Thank you to Diana for sharing1

Are We There Yet?

are-we-there-yet-quilted ‌

What a fun quilt for kids to have on their bed or in the car! You will lstart with a panel showing the alphabet signifying a letter of the alphabet.
The letter N completely stumped us in the shop, until we looked at the bottom of the panel for the answer!
Easy answers up to more difficult the quilt will be suitable for a wide range of ages. Apparently good for the more mature audience a swell! LOL
All fabrics for the top, binding and the pattern.
Check it out on our website by clicking on the link in the Read More Button.
