This fall Anne Hall and Heather Fagervik are hosting a quilt retreat at the fabulous South Thompson Inn!
I am so excited to see this one happen, close to home, fantastic food menu, option of staying at the hotel or going home each night and to top it off the projects are amazing!

Jen Ostlund with her co workers made several animal pouches to go to Australia. Jen and her husband drove down from 100 Mile House on Sunday to deliver to the shop!
Jen and her co workers works at Cedar Crest Society where they work with Special Needs people in their community. To give up their time to do this is just amazing and really goes to show what big heart the creative community has.Thank you so much.

Barb Duncan was in to drop off animal pouches for the injured animals in Australia. She has been working at warp speed and it is amazing to see her love of animals and giving spirit in action!

Will you help?
We are helping to aid some of the animals that are victims of the fires in Australia. There is an unbelievable half a billion animal victims and many many injured animals that need help. This is going to take everyone helping them.
I have included a link for making Wildlife pouches in all sizes from xxsmall to xx large.
The fabric you are looking to use is cotton and flannels mostly. Fleece for the outside is perfect as well. Only for the outside. Check out your stashes for fabrics that will work.

Either bring the pouches in or mail them in and we will get them to Australia for you. We need them by next weekend if at all possible. Air Canada is sending 6 planes at no charge with supplies to Australia! Hats of to Air Canada!

the Strawberry pattern is from Sew Wonderful using the curve rulers. We had a panto with strawberries which worked out just perfect!

Teapot Sampler
From In the Beginning Fabrics we have a new BOM coming in 2020. This one is called "Teapot Sampler" and finishes at 72" x 84".
The project will be over 10 months and is using regular cotton fabrics.
Bright colours and a fun design this quilt will look great in many different situations. Like my house. LOL
