So here we go : To book at the South Thompson Inn for a room you can call at 250-573-3777 or you can visit the web page http://souththompsonhotelkamloops.com
To book for the retreat contact Anne directly at sewpeaceful@telus.net

Ann Petersen

Ann Petersen brought her gorgeous horses quilt in for us to longarm for her. She fell in love with the quilt and the pattern with the deep colours and the motion in the quilt.
The backing she chose is a deep rich navy blue Minky. Using the longarm, Minky is super easy to work with and the results are amazing. The stitched pattern really shows on Minky! Lori Dewart was the longarmer on this one as well.
A beautiful quilt, Ann, and I know whoever gets this one is going to be very happy! We still have 2 kits left in the shop. I do need for them to go so I can make room for new machines and product.
Kit is "Reflections" reg. priced at $149.99 on sale $69.99 Available in store and online at https://www.fabricshelf.ca/shop/c/p/REFLECTIONS-555x775-x58728522.htm

Sandra O'Reilly brought her quilt in for us to loongarm for her. The pattern is called Inner Light by Deb Karacik. Her choice in colours is amazing with fabrics from Tim Holtz for the extra touch of drama.
Lori Dewart did the longarming for Sandra and knocked it out of the park! The edge to edge design chosen is called Fort and is a series of triangles moving across the quilt with enhancing the quilt without taking away from it.
Thank you to Sandra for sharing with everyone.

Charm Their Hearts
| |
Marjorie Serack was kind enough to send in a photo of a quilt she made that is perfect for working from your stash.
You can use fat quarters, 2 1/2" strips or charm pack. Even better if you are feeling energetic you can dive into your scraps and make it totally scrappy.
Add borders to make it any size you like or maybe more than one heart? The possibilities are endless! Rated beginner.
If you have a pattern you would like to suggest or share with others let me know, send photos and information and I am happy to put it in the newsletter. Love the networking that quilters do.
