Hero of the Week
Our Hero of the Week is Valerie Hostyn, branch Manager for Capri Insurance in the Brock shopping center. Valerie is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. She is professional at her job and passionate about the North Shore of Kamloops. Capri Insurance is open 7 days a week and you can be assured when you go in you will be in and out in no time flat! Got to love that! Valerie serves on the North Shore Business Improvement Association board and is a great advocate for all of us! Thank you to Valerie for always being so pleasant and eager to help in any way she can!

December Basket Winner!
Marne Chadderton was the winner of the December Basket of quilting goodies! She was thrilled and drove in from Logan Lake to pick it up. I just know when she got home there was mush fondling and excitement! Congratulations Marne!

Friends From Days Gone By!
Brenda Wauters stopped in at the shop the other day and I almost came to tears! Brenda and I were super close friends for many years as our kids went through school together. We traded fabric, veggies from the garden and many baby sitting days. She moved out of town a few years ago and we lost touch. It was so incredibly cool to see her after all these years! Was like we were toting sewing machines and kids with us! Thank you Brenda for stopping in to say Hi

Bill is heading to Vancouver Island!
I am sending Bill over to Vancouver Island the first week in February to have a visit with our daughter and see if anyone needs work or help on their APQS long arm machine. Debbie Ulinder Prostar!
Debbie Ulinder was in to long arm quilt this beauty of a quilt. she used Glide thread of course, which just made the process so much easier! Debbie is very good at making quilts that are meant to be used. Very creative with her choice in colours and themes she always pulls it together and does amazing!

The Mystical Journey Continues!
Debbie Arvay was in to long arm quilt her "Mystical Journey" quilt she did through Cotton Treasures. Her choice in colours was different from any I have seen and it looks amazing! Gingerbread Village
Gingerbread Village sew in starts on January 27th at 10 am. We are getting full but have space for a few more. Circle of Life
Circle of Life class by Jacqueline de Jonge is being taught by Anne Hall July 24th through July 28th, 2018. Anne is one of only 5 in the world who is certified to teach this pattern!
