Bill's July Road Trip

I have Bill scheduled to head over to the Island on the 13th of July. I do not have firm dates yet but will post as soon as I have something definite.
Bill, fully certified APQS technician, is coming over to set one machine up, and do services for anyone in need with APQS machines. The cost of the service is $200 with everyone sharing the mileage. He is also available to bring fabric, kits or notion orders over. Just call your order or email us and pay with your cc and he will bring it over....no shipping charge for that!
It is very helpful to have a name and address, phone # and email so he knows ahead of time and I can get him organized. Note how I worded that.
The trip after that will be the Fraser Valley. He is going to be pretty darn busy!
Contact the shop at 250-376-7630 or email me at info@fabricshelf.ca

Leslie Ford, the long arm quilter on this one, was in heaven! I have to agree this really is a beautiful quilt!
Quilt finished at 62" x 79" with the edge to edge design called Oodles of Doodles and Glide thread colour Pale Mist for a spectacular finish! Well done!
Thank you to Michelle for sharing with us all!

Debbie Tombe was in to long arm quilt her fantastic bed size quilt all in vibrant deep colours! The quilt finished at 91" x 91" so it is a big one. Gorgeous Fabrics!
Leslie Ford was the helper on this one with Debbie using the computer program for the first time. Let's just say she was thrilled with how easy and perfect her results were! I agree Debbie!
Edge to Edge design chosen is Bauhaus with Glide thread Orchid which was perfect with all those rich Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
Thank you to Debbie for spending your time with us and congratulations on a beautiful quilt!

Diane Mousseau

Diane Mousseau brought her lovely vintage quilt in for us to long arm quilt for her. It isn't really a vintage quilt but it has the feel of it with the fabrics chosen.
With lots of negative space to play with she decided to go with a newer design called Wood Grain. What was really interesting was that with the digital design arranged sideways it looks watery and with it vertical it looks like tree bark! It was so amazing that another client who was in and saw it, immediately wanted that design on her quilt! Quilt finishes at 56" x 70".
Leslie Ford is the long arm quilter on this quilt using the Wood Grain digital design and Glide thread Nickel for the top.
Thank you to Diane for sharing and do take a look at the photo below of the back of the quilt. It could be the front it is so amazing!

Carol Needoba

Carol Needoba brought her darling little lap quilt in for us to long arm quilt for her. This is a comfortable lap size quilt finishing at 49" x 67".
The really interesting part about this quilt is where it is going. Carol is sending it back to Ontario to a niece who heads up an animal rescue place. How cool is that?
Leslie Ford did the long arm quilting using the digital design called Puppy Paws.....how perfect is that? Thread chosen is Glide thread Prickly Pear.
Thank you to Carol for sharing with everyone!

Yvonne Betker

Yvonne Betker was in to long arm quilt her amazing queen size Carpenter's Star quilt. She chose all batik fabrics in tones of blues and holey moley! It was a show stopper in the shop!
Leslie Ford helped Yvonne with the quilting using digital design Windswept to create the tranquil mood. She did a great job of choosing her tones of blues so that it really contrasted with an added pop with the white in the center of the star.
Thank you to Yvonne for sharing with us all and thank you for spending your day with us in the shop!

Yvonne Betker was back the next day to quilt another large quilt. This one is called Hunters Star with clever half square triangles and careful placement to create the stars throughout the quilt. Quilt used batiks again and her choice of colour is teal.
Leslie Ford was the helper again with the digital design called Bora Bora chosen for a dramatic swirling design.
Thank you to Yvonne for sharing!
