Linda Anderson brought 3 of her masterpieces in for us to long arm quilt for her. On the Left is split Triangles all done in neutral tones for a soft gorgeous finish. The one of the right is called Beach Days with surf boards fabrics for the border. the colours are perfect with a lovely balance of tones.
Leslie Ford did the long arm quilting using digital design Woodgrain for the Split Triangles quilt and Rip Curl for the Beach Days quilts. How perfect is that? Threads were Glide Cream for the Split Triangles and Strawberry Blonde for Beach Days. What a great finish!

This is the third little quilt that Linda Anderson brought in for us to long arm for her. Her table runner matches a quilt she had previously made. A soft pallette for the background really makes the stars pop up and say hello!
The long arm quilting was done by Leslie Ford using a digital design called Butterfly Wing Clamshell and wow! What an amazing finish with this design! Top thread is Glide Seagull.

Tanya Knippelberg brought this amazing quilt in for us to long arm for her. The pattern is called Postage Stamp Journey by Fat Quarter Shop which you can find on their website. Each of the little squares finish at 1"!!! To top it all off they were absolutely perfect! Good lord Tanya!
Leslie Ford did the long arm quilting using digital pattern Clamshell Scallop #1 and it was just amazing how it looked at the end! I loved this quilt! The top thread is Glide Linen for a lovely subtle finish.

Sheila Erichuk brought her gorgeous quilt in to be long arm quilted. Sheila is a huge fan of French General fabrics by Moda and was absolutely thrilled with her quilt. A vintage floral look, lovely tones of the colours and some great blocks that really show the fabrics and the quilting off!
Leslie Ford is the long arm artist on this one using the digital design called PS I Love You and Glide thread colour Shell for the top. Love love love this quilt!

Cheryl Seaborn brought this amazing little Unicorn quilt for Leslie to long arm for her. Cheryl's friend, Madison , did the piecing on the quilt, Leslie did the long arm quilting and Cheryl was the coordinator on the project. Isn't that just one of the best stories ever? Everyone works together to a common goal.
Leslie Ford long arm quilted using the digital pattern, Dear Heart with Glide thread Pink Lemonade for the top. A beautiful quilt and will be much loved for years to come.

Brenda Bliss brought her darling little baby quilt in and quilted it herself with help from Leslie Ford. Her baby quilt is so cute with the cutest little farm animals in pastel bright colours. This is going to be a much loved quilt for years to come!
The digital design chosen for the quilt is Dear Heart with whirls and swirls and hearts. Top thread is Glide Linen for a soft finish!

Scissor Sharpening

Scissor Sharpening by Wicked Edge
We have discovered a fellow in town, Rick Walker, a fully certified, scissor sharpener who will come and sharpen your scissors here at the shop.
Rick comes with 40 years of experience and does a great job! He will even sharpen pinking shears, grooming shears and more.

Cost is $10 a pair.

Sewing Machine Repair

There are no machine services by Hector until the end of July. Bill is out of town servicing on APQS going north, and Hector is tied up with other commitments.
Baby your machines along, make sure you clean them out and put new needles in. We will start to take names later in July for services on your domestic machines.
