Carol Needabo
Carol Needabo was in to long arm her gorgeous queen size quilt this week. Using greys, aquas and coral colours she really pulled off a fabulous quilt!
Carol is sending this one off to Eastern Canada and I am sure she is going to make someone very very happy!
Carol used Carpet of Leaves panto and glide thread for fast and perfect results every time!

Tammy and Hector are coming!

The Ellie Tote
Devona Hay very kindly made this little bag to display in the shop. The fabrics she chose are some of our latest in with a blue jean look. Maureen Connelly
Maureen Connelly was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous scrappy quilt yesterday. I couldn't believe this is from her scraps. The chances of me having enough scraps that actually looked this good together is pretty darn slim. And I am afraid Slim has left town.
Maureen found a gorgeous shade of pastel yellow to quilt with and it was just beautiful!

Leigh Beech was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous Fractured Star quilt by Judy Neimeyer. This quilt was made for her granddaughter and she is going to just love it!
Leigh used a quilt panto called P.S. I Love You and Glide thread for perfect results. This one really is a show stopper and we were all just so thrilled to see Leigh work her way through. The quilting took her from 10 in the morning until about 3pm. Now to get the binding and the label on and she is done!

Vintage Christmas
It seems a bit early to be thinking Christmas but why not be a quilting keener and have these ready early!
One panel makes 4 placemats. The placemats are quite large so you may want to size them down. the finished size is 13" x 22".
We have the matching plaid for your binding as well as the all over print for the backing. Panels are priced at $13.99.

Anne Hall and Heather have joined again to offer a quilting cruise next fall. Of course it will be contingent on the Covid situation but I am thinking positive and in the meantime I can have tons of fun planning new outfits and new projects! More about projects coming in an upcoming newsletter!

The Sad Case of Rising Costs
Due to increase costs in running our long arm program we are sadly forced to raise the price a little itty bitty bit.
Effective July 1st , long arm rental will no longer include thread at no charge. There will be a $5 charge for using our thread. You can bring bring your own Glide thread if you like.
We are working hard to keep the cost down as much as possible. This is just so hard for me to do and I hope you all can understand what we are up against. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Now I am ready to have a bit of a cry.

Vintage Boardwalk Free pattern
Is this not the cutest quilt for the summer? With vintage bathing suits, bicycles and more this is a real trip down memory lane!

Well this is Exciting!!
It is a Saturday afternoon and guess what happened? The Delivery fellow came with 5 boxes!!
It was wildly exciting with much gasping, oohing and aahing and fondling . The delivery man had left immediately before all that started, so he was definitely not involved. Just being clear.
The fabrics are gorgeous and we have everything from strip packs, flannels and cottons. We even have the Creative Grids template for making the masks in 3 different sizes!
