We are able to sell our shop models of the APQS machines now! What does this mean for you? Big savings!!
These machines are purchased by us for use in the shop. We are able to sell them to you at a great price with full warranty.
We have a Millie and a Lucey currently available. These come with or without the computer. My opinion is that you want the computer. It is such a time saver and enables you to have a very professional finish!
The Millie is on a 12' frame and the Lucey is on a 10' frame.

Kathy Elliott was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous Hearts and Stars quilt. With her white background and clear blues she achieved a dramatic finish! Just a beautiful finish, Kathy!
The E2E design chosen was Curved Feathers and top thread is Glide Steel Blue. Leslie was Kathy's assistant on the quilt.

Winter Dreams

A new line of fabrics in the shop by Figo, the modern fabric section of Northcott Fabrics. Designed by a Canadian Designer, Bernadett Urbanovics, this has a calm and sophisticated European look to it.
Bernadett is a pattern designer and illustrator living in Montreal with her husband and three children. Since her childhood living in a small Hungarian village, she has been passionate about drawing. After the birth of her first child, she started to design textile prints, and her patterns became popular among the sewing community. Her style is quite elaborate with a vintage and retro touch.
We have the fabrics out on the floor as well as available on line.

Monday Morning with Paulette

Every 2nd Monday morning, Paulettle Eccleston will be showing one of her scrap quilts with instructions for how to put the block together!!!
Tips and tricks, inspiration, trips down memory lane and of course there are bound to be some giggles in there.
The response to her first quilt was fantastic and so much appreciated.
The patterns will be free and I have the link in the website You Tube posting for you all.
This has been a learn as we go for both Paulette and myself. We would like to thank you for all your patience and encouragement.

Scissor Sharpening

Scissor Sharpening by Rick Walker of Wicked Edge
Rick will be coming in the second Wednesday of each month to sharpen your scissors and knives.
Have your items in to the shop by end of business on June 11th for them to be sharpened on the 12th.
Rick comes with 40 years of experience and does a great job! He will even sharpen pinking shears, grooming shears and more.
You can phone me at 250-376-7630 or email me as well to let me know how many scissors/knives are coming.
Cost is $10 a pair scissors

Sewing Machine Repair

As you know, Bill is away for a month with his sisters. Thank you all for your patience and understanding as Mr. Bill is away. there may be a glass of wine and bag of chips on my menu!! LOL
In the interim we have Hector and Tammy's daughter picking up the machines early Tuesday afternoon and bringing them over. You get your machines back by Monday the following week.
Prices on a machine service are as follows:
Basic non Electronic : $110.00
Electronic : $130.00
Embroidery with Embroidery Unit : $160.00
