Evelyn Skarra brought her gorgeous Diamond Weave quilt in for us to long arm for her. What an incredible piece of art! Absolutely love the colours and the pattern she chose! Pattern is in a booklet by Brenda Hennings called Strip Therapy 9.
Leslie Ford did the long arm quilting using the digital design Rip Curl and Glide thread Ginger for the top. Thank you so much Evelyn for sharing with us!

Marg Kinney
|
|
Marg Kinney was in to show us her flimsy of the Alchemist Crystals by Quiltworx. This is a big one finishing as a queen quilt. I just love the look of vintage with the Tim Holtz fabrics and the contrast of the lights to darks is spot on!
Marg and Leslie Ford consulted during the construction and it was really awesome for me to watch these two ladies connect over the quilt. Can you imagine this one quilted? I will post when it is done.
Thank you to Marg for sharing your quilt journey with us all!

Brenda Bliss

|
Brenda Bliss brought 2 projects in long arm quilt with help from Bill. First up we are showing her winter quilt. She started with a panel, which had the wreaths in blocks, then created the star blocks to build it out. I just love her blend of soft blues, whites and greens.
The digital design chosen is Starz with Glide thread Cool Grey 3 for the top.
Thank you Brenda for sharing with us all!

Bill was her helper on this one as well using the Starz digital design and Glide thread Honey Gold for the top.
Thank you to Brenda for sharing with us all!

Jan Schultz was in for a long arm class and with help from Bill she got her awesome Stained Glass quilt done! She found the pattern on Jordan's Fabrics and created this lovely little quilt!
The digital design chosen is Seamless with Glide thread Sea Green for the top. Jan was so thrilled with her class and her finished quilt that she came out to ask me if she could give Bill a hug. I replied "Yes you can, I am very busy" LOL
Thank you Jan for all your sharing and enthusiasm!

Kathleen Nadler
|
|
Kathleen Nadler is an incredible quilt artist who produces some of the most creative pieces I have ever seen. This particular quilt Kathleen designed herself in the quilt design program EQ8 using all sorts of fabrics and prints. She has decided to dip her toes into learning about different threads and their uses. The close up show below is some of the specialty thread works. the quilt was designed, pieced and long arm quilted by Kathleen. Kathleen uses many different rulers to custom quilt and try out different looks. As I say, she is amazing!!! Thank you to Kathleen for show us your quilt, inspiring us all to keep learning and trying and sharing with us all!
Check it all below to see a close up of some of the work.
