Danielle Mader
Danielle was in to long arm quilt this gorgeous yellow and blue quilt. There are loads of pieces in this one and she did a fabulous job on the piecing and then topped it off by quilting it herself!
It is hard to see in the photo but the border fabric is just stunning. A blue tonal but very rich looking. Loved it!

Robyn Shiels
Robyn Shiels was in to long arm this adoreable baby quilt. The backing for this quilt is a flannel in pinks, greys and creams.
The other notable thing about the backing is that it is a plaid. Plaid is super popular right now so take a peek in your stashes for some of those yummy plaids you put away years ago....you are right back in style!
Loved the colour combination of pink, navy and greys in this one. I know, I know , I know .....it is modern and I am getting there. Baby steps. LOL

Mike Topf
Mike Topf was up to show us some of his current works in progress and some finished. First up we have growth chart quilt that he made and even attached a measuring tape to the bottom of the quilt to aid in accurate sizing! Wow....that is attention to detail! Beautifully done Mike!

This is the second quilt Mike Topf brought to show us. It is a flimsy at this stage but will soon be quilted. This one is all about the dogs and is just so cute! He bought the panel in Vernon, and then picked up pieces everywhere he went. His own design, he plans on keeping this one as he is a dog lover!

Joni Newman, the queen of Stained Glass quilting, is probably going to be moving to Vancouver Island in January. We are very sad and have tried to bribe her with cookies, coffee and even fabrics if she would stay. However the ocean pulls her. Le sigh.....

Golden Hour Quilt
A gorgeous project that is simple to make and might just make a very tiny dent in your stash! I said it would be tiny!! LOL
Pattern is a free one by Kanvas fabrics and finishes at 53" x 70". The squares are made from 15 fat quarters, the centers of the squares you will need .6 meter and sashing and borders are 1.25 meters. Pretty simple!
