Shirley Huculak

Shirley Huculak was in to longarm quilt her amazing Tumbling Blocks quilt. This one was made for a grandson in colours of his choice. He is 11 so this one will stay with him for many years to come.
Bill was the helper on this quilt and was just gobsmacked at the number of pieces needed for the quilt. What is really amazing is the precision on the piecing! I can't even envision getting all those points to match!
Thank you to Shirley for sharing your incredible quilt with everyone!

Margaret Mitchell

Margaret Mitchell purchased this super cute knitting sheep fabric from us a while back and created this bag for a lucky someone.
Is this not the cutest ever? Pockets ring the entire bag to put all the patterns, snacks, needles, snacks, your phone, wool and more snacks. LOL Margaret also has pockets on the inside in case you still have stuff to find a home. Like more of your snacks! .....must be getting close to lunchtime, all I can think of is snacks....LOL

Kathy Elliott.

Kathy Elliott was in to longarm quilt her huge king size quilt. Look at the size of this one! I asked her how her stash was looking now and I think she thought I was being a bit too personal. LOL
Kathy chose an edge to edge design using the computer called Windswept. Was just perfect with lovely swirls and motion. Her choice on thread was Graphite on the top and Orchid on the bobbin. Glide of course for ease of use and perfect results every time.
Thank you to Kathy for sharing with us!

Paulette Eccleston

Here we have Paulette Eccleston with her gorgerous quilt that combines the modern with the vintage just spot on! Her choices of the fabrics for the stars and background are very 1950's with the soft romantic roses and pink being used in the sashing!
The modern part comes in with the longarm quilting. She chose a computer edge to edge design called Time Warp and it is very modern! I would never have dreamed it could work, but it did! I just fell in love with this one, as I do love the vintage look.
Thank you to Paulette for sharing all that creativity and talent with us all. As a side note.....yes Paulette is a itty bitty and the quilt is huge!

Paulette Lizotte.

Paulette Lizotte had us longarm quilt her beautiful quilt for her. Lori Dewart did the quilting and it turned up just beautiful!
The edge to edge design chosen is called Be Mine. Top thread is Apricot Blush and bobbin is Tuscan. Everything came together and the end result is gorgeous.
The squares are done in a shadowing effect with beautiful floral centers. Paulette did an awesome job on the piecing and Lori nailed it on the quilting.
Thank you to Paulette and to Lori for letting us all come on your quilt journey!

A Call for Help

The Women's Shelter is asking if we can collect stockings for the women they are helping to get back on their feet.
Their goal is 10, but of course more is always better. Extras would just be put away for next year.
If you would like to help, please bring your stockings to the shop and I will get them over to the Shelter. I have another free pattern for a Christmas stocking for you. This one is super modern that may work very well with fabrics you already have in your stash. Click on the link for the instructions: https://suzyquilts.com/free-quilted-christmas-stocking-pattern/
Your stocking donation can be sewn or bought, but geared toward the women. You do not have to fill the stockings, unless you choose to. Drop your stocking off at the shop anytime during business hours. Thank you in advance for your caring.

Drop off at our shop any time during business hours until Dec. 14th
I have the poster in the window of our shop as well as at the till. If you have any questions please call Patti at the NSBIA 250-376-2411
