Our Thanksgiving Wish for You All
It is Thanksgiving this coming Monday Oct.12th and we would like to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving and we hope you have opportunity to reflect on all that you have to be thankful for.
This year has been one for the record books and it is easy to get all caught up in the negativity of the economics, the politics and all the restrictions we live with now.
However, I would like to ask you all to be so grateful for what we have.... friends and family, beautiful sunny Autumn days, fabric stashes, families spending more time together than ever, all the business trying so very hard to accommodate their customers and again ...... your fabric stashes that you now have the time to work on!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and thank you all so much for supporting us and keeping us going! We are so appreciative of you all!

Cindy Schellenberg
Cindy Schellenberg is here November 6 and 7th to teach anyone who already has a Quilt Path Computer system or is interested in purchasing one. Come and learn how to use the computer for the long arm to it's full potential.
Class size is limited to 4 due to Covid restrictions. Class starts at 9 am and goes the full day. Cost of the class is $320.00 for the 2 days.

Is this not the most gorgeous purple and blue quilt ever? This one is a big one at 102" x 102" and all in Batiks by Timeless Treasures. Pattern is designed by Wing and a Prayer. We have the sample pieced and quilted so hopefully binding on over the next couple of days. Come on in for a look!

Sepka Lind
Sepka Lind was in to show us her fabulous Ocean themed quilt all bound and ready to give. Actually I think she has decided to keep it for a bit as she has fallen in love with it all over again!
Sepka brought the quilt in for us to quilt and she chose a panto called Rip Curl and it was just perfect! The little splashes of yellow in the quilt really lifted it to a whole other level!
Thank you to Sepka for sharing your creativity and letting us be a part of your quilt's story!

Kathy Mirtle
Kathy Mirtle was in to long arm quilt her gorgeous scrappy batik quilt. Good heavens ..... does this woman ever reach the end of her scraps????
Kathy chose a computer generated panto and with Bill's help got this one done in no time at all and with perfect results! You now have the option of using the computer to do the stitching with hundreds of great designs. You can still choose to drive the machine yourself if you like.
If you have a quilt ready to be done bring it on in to have us quilt it, quilt it yourself with the computer doing the bulk of the work, or drive the machine and show your quilting skills! All with help of course!

Kathy Mirtle Stash Contest Update
Well, we are so close to Kathy finishing her Christmas stash off. We need to keep her on track as she keeps finding other fabric she forgot about and using it up in projects.
Kathy, Kathy, Kathy one must be focused!! Picture at the left is some of the Autumn projects she has completed lately [some are from years past and she wanted to share with you]. They are lovely but....Kathy use the darn Christmas stash up!!!! Actually Kathy very kindly gave us the quilted topper with the braid border. I have it in the window at the shop so make sure to stop and have a look!

The Leah Collection
The Delivery truck arrived this week with boxes of goodies!
We have the full line of the Leah Collection by In the Beginning Fabrics and it is just yummy! Soft florals in blues, purples yellows and hints of greens. We also have a pattern to go with if you choose.

We are participating in this program!
We are helping the NSBIA in this fabulous opportunity to give back to our community.
Heather's Fabric Shelf will be a Drop Off point for gently used purses that you are passing on with some items inside for women in need.
This has been a challenging year for many of us and the need is greater than ever before. In the picture you see Patti up to her knees in purses.....now imagine Patti with purses up to her thighs!
Let's have some fun with this and load those purses with fun items, useful items and de-clutter our closets at the same time!

Quilting Ruler Class

Silly Moon Ruler is offering a couple of classes in October for anyone interested in quilting your own quilts at home on your domestic machines.
These are online Zoom classes.
You must have already taken the Beginner class and have the Ruler foot. If you need the Beginner class I will get dates for you as quick as I can. There is one on the 14th of October you can take. You will be making a placemat for the the Beginner class.

The classes are offered at no cost to you upon purchase of the rulers. We have them in stock and if we run short I can order to have them ready.
Most of the rulers are roughly $30.
Dates are :
Oct. 24.....Beanie Class 9AM for about 3 - 4 hrs.
Oct. 28th.....Twinkle Class 6PM for 3 hrs.
